Our Team & Design Process
One Vintage was created by Marcelle Symons in 2000 and is established in the UK.

We buy as much antique textile from local vendors in order to support small independent businesses, and our packaging is all recycled and recyclable. Not to mention that the pillar of One Vintage is to transform the old into wearable, contemporary new garments.” - Marcelle Symons
These unique statement pieces are for those with an already established sense of style and a strong love for protecting the planet. Created for women between the ages of 20-45 who want to stand out.
We developed our products through careful trend research and market research. After collecting data about the certan style/fit/size and aspects such as closures/lining/color through customers that fit our target market, we were finally able to come up with three different designs that both fit the need of our target market and reflect the style and ethics of One Vintage.
DESOLATE REVIVAL
The Story
Our collection was created with sustainable leather in mind. Although we are an eco-friendly up-cycling brand, we chose to source a newer material from outside of the UK, specifically from Mexico. Our vendors from DESSERTO have provided us with a never before created material- cactus leather! This top quality plant-based leather is what was used to create our coats for the Fall season of 2023.
This collection was a great opportunity to give our consumers a wider point of view on alternative leather choices. We hope this will inspire our clients to think bigger and consider leathers beyond what is derived from animals. We value how our consumers feel in regard to our garments, but also how we treat the earth we inhabit. We want all of our clients to stand out from the crowd and feel good about where and how their clothes were created.

because we do not use any fur, wool, down, exotic animal skin, or hair. We only use recycled shearling, recycled leather, and recently in our new, Desolate Revival collection, we have use plant-based leather from our cactus leather vendor, DESSERTO.
